Wet vs Dry

Wet flow means there's fuel vapor traveling the entire length of the manifold's runners from the injectors which are located in the throttle body (which has replaced the carb). AKA TBI or throttle body injection.

Dry flow means that the manifold's runners only flow air, no fuel in suspension, with the throttle body basically acting just as an air door. The fuel is injected just before the intake valve, at the END of the manifold's runners. AKA port injection.

It's easier to just bolt on a combination throttle-body/injector unit where the carb normally mounts than to modify a manifold with individual injector bungs.
