i am about to order the cam for my 74 f100 and since i already have the manifold and carb i was thinking about getting the edelbrock performer cam. is this to small my engine is plain 8.1 or 8.5 to 1 compression c6 and 3.25 gears hoping for headers rebuilt tranny and lower gears this summer. the only othere thing i have on it is a pertronix ignition.
i was wondering if this cam is right or not
.460 int .480 exh and 194 int and 204 exh duration
i think the lift is high enough is the duration long enough. have any of you ever run this setup before
any help is appreciated
