anyone out there have experience building fe stroker motors? what are you comments on the following. i'm building an engine for a truck application and would like to use as many standard/stock components as possible....presently i'm considering the following:
- 391 ft block bored to 4.13
- 3.78 crank offset ground to ??
- 400m rods with arp bolts (rod length=6.5815")
- 428 forged pistons (comp ht = 1.674")
.....assuming a deck height clearance of .005
this would allow an offset grind to 3.82. total cubic inches calculates out to 409.
This thread, so far...
