| I am currently rebuilding a 67 390 GT motor and I am having difficulty finding out which pistons are the correct ones. Are they supposed to be cast or forged? Are they the same as a 4V non GT 390? And lastly what is the compression height 1.778 or 1.76? The only pistons I have found make the compression about 8.5 to 1 not 10.5 to 1. Last but not least the deck clearance is about .05 not .01 to .03 like I'm used too seeing. |
