police interceptor manifolds

I read on the net, it looked like a duplication of fords own published material from the 1960's , it looked to me like it said that the aluminum interceptor manifold was good for an extra 6hp in the higher rpms. Is this true? I thought it was a exact duplicate of the cast iron manifold.
