That engine looks a heck of a lot like a Y-block, except the oil filter sticks straight outta the block, not tilted down from straight out about 20 degrees like the Y-block.

I don't know a heap about these old engines, but it's interesting that Ford duplicated the 332, 361, and 410 displacements in different engine families when the year-spacing was close enough to certainly cause real confusion in some cases. It's nice Ford selected 351 instead of 352 for the Windsor small block, as that certainly prevented a buncha confusion in those equally bored and stroked motors.

Hey, the confusion over the 351 Cleveland is likely what forced Ford to come up with formal "engine family" names like FE, MEL, 335, and 385, so there are good sides to the overlaps, too.
