RE: the 454 FE would be nice!

I agree the 454 would be nice but aren't there bigger stroker cranks available thru scat. i am not a fan of the 460, you don't now how many times I get told that I should have put the 460 in my ranger. I was also thinking of stroking my 390 with a 428 crank. My truck only weighs 2800 pounds and I want to run in the 11's to 10's i figure the best route to go would be to build and eagle rodded forged pistoned 390 with the edelbrock single plane and a shot of NOS.
