Paul is giving you the best advice. There are a lot of differences in these cars. The spring/shock towers are first to come to mind, the '68 and up are reinforced when installing the 390 and larger engines, They also have torque boxes built into the chassis and the suspension is much more beefy. Get a 390 car if you want that power system. Also the differential is more able to live for a while. |
