I'm going to rebuild my engine soon. If when I measure the cylinders for out-of-roundness I find they're not excessively out-of-round would you reccomend just a honeing and then possibly reuse the same pistons and connecting rods with new rings and bearings of course? My question is, won't I have increased the amount of clearance between the piston and the walls with the honing, and aren't I sacrificing something in doing that? Thanks |
