In my opinion all cross ram intakes are not nearly worth the hassle with the only exception of looking BAD. ran both the Edelbrock and the M/T with no gains only headaches with tuning and linkage. The best 8V intake for your car is the Tunnel Ram by Ford. You will get awesome results in both looks and performance with a pair of 650 to 750 cfm carbs and the C8AX -6250- C hydraulic Ford cam. The nicest feature of hydraulic lifters is that you get to spend more time driving your car than working on it. Of course if you're a bit masochistic you should run solids, just think of all the aggravation and skinned knuckles you could have.
