RE: There was a H&M built 350HP FE back in 1958. By Travis Miller - 10/10/2001 8:00:57 AM; IP 205.188.198.41 If you look close at the H&M 350HP FE picture, you will see that it is in fact one of the MEL 430 style engines. Notice the location of the fuel pump at the front of the intake manifold. Also notice the spark plug arrangement in relation to the exhaust ports. The 430 in a T-bird was rated at 350 horsepower.
