I agree that any base '67 Fairlane/Comet with an S code engine would make a great pure stock car. What with a few "tweeks" you'd provide some competition for those "pure stock" 396s, 389s, 400s, 440s, etc. As for a Z code Fairlane/Comet, it'd have to be a 1966 since there was apparently no standard 390-4V offered in '67. But a Z code '66 2 door sedan with a C6OZ-B cam.....that'd be a good one. |
