Huh? The only cooler I have seen used...

...on my/friends various vehicles ('70 Boss '9, '70 Shelby w/Drag Pak, '70 Torino w/Drag Pak and '69 Fairlane Cobra) all used the manifold-type vertical heat exchanger. The OEM one had an ink stamped engineering number of C90E6A642A and "inlet" in the appropriate place; the service part number was C90Z-6A642-A. Attached is a pic of an NOS cooler -- note that it doesn't have the "inlet" stamp.

I would like to see the other cooler you are speaking of and info on what it came on originally. Inquiring minds want to know!

Cheers,
Dan "back to lurking" Davis

I'd say 428 Fairlane. Note: I shrunk the image to save DB space. [n/m] -- Mr F, 11/19/2001

 Nope - and I think it wasn't serviced, so no p/n. [n/m] -- Mr F, 11/20/2001
