Initially, Net54 displayed both the "join" and "skip past" buttons at the bottom of that blocking screen, before the day was over, they completely deleted the lower button (not just blanking it), forcing all to join or go away. About a day later, Net54 reactivated the "skip past" button, but did not display it (just added a blank spot below the "join" button. Since then, I've occasionally seen the screen pop up, and both buttons are always there but the lower one may or may not be blanked.
I suspect the screen will show up every few days from now on, as Net54 is apparently aware that it ain't easy to make money with just banner ads. Net54 will likely resort to tighter restrictions as the months pass, unless revenue starts to show up which will allow them to make a good profit. This may direct Anthony to suggest the option that we pool our resources and pay a monthly fee which gets rid of the screen completely.
