I'm assuming here Mike that you're asking what the early heads are worth in power value not $ value. I wouldn't begin to attempt to answer that question because I really don't know. But what I do know is that there are so many variables in choosing cylinder heads for any engine, i.e., intended use, induction system, compression ratio, camshaft grind, literally etc. Those are just a few things that pop into my mind. There are some benefits in the C8AE-H and D2TE heads but I can't remember what they are right now.....
For me the C8A & D2T heads work well to hold down tarps over things that kind of matter.
