Jim, Just so I get this right, ford only used one casting number on all connecting rods? There isn't really a c3ae- a, b, or f. Perhaps 352 used the same connecting rod length as 390 and 428. As far as I've found ford used at least 10 diff. id numbers to identify their rods in the Fe series. c7oe-a was made for NASCAR 427's only; in 58 edc 6.5" rods were used on 332/352/361 ci engines. Some times the extra info helps in identifying what you have, just like the date codes.
